Weather, remoteness and a labor deficit made it the best choice

One of the most northern communities in the world built a new hospital, but until they found housing for the patient care teams, the positions couldn't be filled. Rentals are rare and construction is expensive in Barrow/Utqiagvik Alaska. The Arctic Slopes Native Association turned to DIRTT to build the interiors of their hospital's 16 houses.
